We have two campsites for families and small groups. Spend a week or just a night. We are cyclist-friendly, located on the bike route between Canada and Burlington. We offer farm tours and are happy to talk about raising grass-fed beef, animal welfare and regenerative agricultural practices. If you’re just cycling through, greetings! We wish we could too.
SPECIAL OFFER: Since we are, after all, beef producers, we have a special offer for customers who order a side of beef — a free night of camping. We have had customers from the Boston area place an order, enjoy a couple of days here and drive home well-stocked.
You may choose to camp in our farmstead or down the farm road in a field, but we also offer a spacious equipment shed with electricity, lights, picnic table and grill. We have drinking water, a composting toilet (and a porta-potty toilet, in season), a small fire pit, and a primitive shower. Longer stays will find the refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, single burner hot plate and coffee maker useful for meal prep. We sell our great steaks/burger on request. In our farmstand we sell snacks for cyclists, organic eggs, cheese, and the world’s best caramels. We are 2.5 miles from a well-stocked convenience store. On Wednesdays, there is a farmers market near by from 3pm – 6pm on Route 2. Our small private lake-front beach is too shallow to be swimable, but it’s peaceful and private. You may build a campfire there or pitch your tent. Our nearby town beach (White’s Beach) is a gem, with a designated swim area for kids, a boat launch area and sand going out for hundreds of feet. Dogs are also allowed in certain areas.
Pets are permitted at our campsites to the extent that they do not bother people at the other campsite. Since we have 180 acres here, we’ll find a place for you to pitch your tent or park your camper where you have space.
You can make reservations through Hipcamp . Call us at 802-378-5246 if you prefer to make reservations over the phone or if you have questions.
