Beef Steak Mac & Cheese
Serves 4
Ingredients
½ to 1 pound boneless beef steak – already cut in very thin strips 2-3 inches long
2 Tablespoons butter or your favorite oil
16 oz noodles (we use gluten free brown rice spirals)
8 oz shredded pecorino romano cheese (or try your favorite)
2-5 minced cloves garlic, depending on size of cloves and your love of garlic
Instructions
Bring water for noodles to a boil and throw in the noodles to cook, according to directions.
Meanwhile, melt butter in a saucepan and saute the beef gently until almost medium rare.
If you have not developed a taste for raw garlic (and you should consider it for this recipe), saute the minced garlic along with the beef.
Drain the noodles.
Layer the noodles, the cheese and the garlic on top of the beef, in the same pan.
Fold ingredients together and serve immediately.
